had my first practice/scrimmage on the bank track
with the BIG boys tonight..

it was painful, i think cuz the track is banked.
it produces more down force. i got cramps in my arches.

i asked if this was normal and the vets said yes.
i took blocks, forearms to the chest, single whips,
double whips and spinning whips.
working my way thru the pack and jamming around the track.

i'm learning a lot from the T-BIRD franchise skaters.
i learned a lot from all of the BRGs skaters, coaches
and refs too. i'm very grateful for thier patience and expertise.

how grateful you may ask..??
well during a jam. i clipped another skaters wheels.
tripped and fell face and chest first.
and as i am falling i kept praying and saying to myself.
"MAKE SMALL MAKE SMALL" as i am hearing skates fly
over me and beside my head. hehehehehe.

oh yeah!!! i want MORE!!!

then we all went out and ate fast food crap...hehehehe. ..

Hey Oscar, great to hear from you. Welcome to the Roller Derby family! I can tell you from a personal experience from skating 10 seasons with the L.A. well i joined a women's roller derby team..

i am learning to be a referee and currently working support staff as a PENALTY CHASER.

when a skater gets 4 minor penalties. i chase them down. call their number and whistle them off the track and send
them to the penalty box .

it's really awesome. i get to watch the bout from the infield track.

and these skaters are viscious. i think they eat their young.

i miss all my freaks on wheels brothers and sisters.. miss you all!!!
